SEC Big East Invitational coming up Dec. 9

Before we get to the 2010 SEC Tournament its time to look at the SEC Big East Invitational being held New York’s Madison Square Garden and Tampa’s St. Pete Time Forum. With some of the most successful college basketball teams in the conference, this will be another good year to buy SEC Big East Invitational tickets and watch the action live. This is the third annual SEC Big East Invitational, and the action goes down on December 9-10. This is one of the biggest college basketball tickets of the year so you don’t want to miss out.

The first night of the SEC Big East invitational will see a doubleheader Wednesday, Dec. 9, at MSG. The first game of the Invitational will see Georgia Bulldogs basketball take on St John’s basketball at 7 p.m., followed by the Kentucky basketball taking on the Uconn Huskies in what should be some fantastic college hoops. The Huskies made it all the way to the Final Four during last year’s March Madness tournament, while the Wildcats participated in the NIT.

In the second day of the Big East SEC Invitational, taking place on Thursday, Dec. 10, at the St. Pete Times Forum, DePaul battles Mississippi State with a 6:30 p.m. start-time. And following that, with a 9 p.m. start time, the Syracuse Orangemen take on the Florida Gators. Both Syracuse and Mississippi State were invited to the NCAA Tournament last year, with the Orange making it all the way to the Sweet Sixteen.

Up until now the Big East has gotten the better of the SEC, holding a 5-3 record. But the past is not always an indicator of the future so you’ll have to get SEC Big East Invitational tickets if you want to see who comes out on top this year.
